Delhi Metro on Thursday opened a new elevated stretch under Phase 4, connecting fast-growing residential neighbourhoods to the central business district.
Officials estimate the new corridor will cut peak-hour commute times by nearly 20 minutes for thousands of daily riders.
The extension is part of a broader plan to expand the network by over 60 km over the next two years.
